BLOCK NINE ARCHITECTS is a creative, design-led practice based in the heart of Edinburgh. We’re recruiting for a talented, motivated and proactive Architect or experienced Part 2 to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about great design, thoughtful in their approach, and ready to get involved at every stage of a project, from early concept and presentation, through technical design and detailing, to seeing it built on site.
You’ll work across a wide mix of projects, from bold high-end new builds to sensitive refurbishments and conservation work, taking ideas from first sketch to final completion.
What You’ll Bring:
• Excellent design skills and strong 3D presentation experience
• Confidence managing multiple projects and working both independently and as part of a team
• Solid experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop & InDesign, SketchUp and 3D Rendering packages
• A minimum of a Part 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in practice, or a recent Part 3 qualification
Our work spans Residential, Commercial, Education, Hospitality, And Arts & Culture projects across Scotland, London and the Caribbean, so no two days are ever the same.
At BLOCK NINE ARCHITECTS, we enjoy working closely with each other, as well as with our clients, consultancy and contractor teams. Being approachable, professional and confident in communication is key to the role.
