Building on our growing portfolio - Caribbean marina projects
Building on our growing portfolio of Caribbean marina projects - this is another big one for BLOCK NINE ARCHITECTS.
For over a year, we’ve been desperate to share an update on a hugely exciting project for the practice, and our largest Caribbean commission to date - the redevelopment of Jolly Harbour Marina in Antigua.
This is the first phase of a larger masterplan, comprising two buildings with 80 apartments, plus retail and restaurant spaces at ground level, positioned directly on the water’s edge of this stunning location on the West Coast of Antigua.
The two buildings sit directly alongside the marina, allowing every apartment to make the most of the breathtaking sea views. With outdoor spaces, restaurants, retail and dining all opening onto the marina edge, the design creates a relaxed and vibrant setting.
The project is a real reflection of the passion, professionalism and collaborative approach of our team.
We’re now working alongside a fantastic client, and an established consultancy team, with whom we’re fortunate to be building strong, long-term relationships across several projects.
Jolly Harbour also marks an important step in our continued growth across Antigua and the wider Caribbean, already opening the door to exciting new opportunities in the region.
This is our 3rd major marina project in the Caribbean in the last 12 years, and encapsulates our vision at Block Nine to deliver
Innovative Architecture that
Respects the Past, Inspires the Present and Shapes the Future.
Pushing the boundaries of contemporary design in some of the world’s most stunning locations, we’re always looking to redefine what’s possible in Architecture.
We believe that great projects are built on more than good design. They’re built on long-lasting relationships, exceptional professional service and a personal approach.
Currently, we’re progressing the technical package, while works are already underway on site at Jolly Harbour. The site has been cleared, and the project is now preparing to progress into the substructure phase.
We’re incredibly excited to see this project take shape and to continue building our presence across the Caribbean.
